"I am passionate about the role a good art education can have in a student's life.  I aim to create a classroom in which artistic growth and progress are emphasized rather than outright talent and skill. I aspire to work with the curriculum to create units and lessons that build on each other from year to year, and increase artistic growth, knowledge and skills over time. My classroom encourages the investigation of artists and materials and helps develop creative problem solvers, critical thinkers, and reflective learners."
